Also we had Mark Pawlett from Trent and his students taking part. Mark has been training with Milton Keynes UTA Taekwondo Academy for a few years now, he also helped with this training session and delivered some fighting drills and stretching exercises that the students enjoyed and worked hard.
We also had the opportunity to raise £48 which we will donate Chris Sawyerr (former Olympic fighter, European & British champion).
Chris's youngest son (aged just 14) suffered a brain hemorrhage approx 2 weeks ago and remains in a critical condition on life support.
The seminar was design to prepare participants both mentally and physically for the grading and competition.
We are delighted with this seminar and the students that turned out, it was fantastic to see many engaged and eager to learn students and the development of the Milton Keynes Taekwondo monthly training session. We are also immensely pleased that events such as these continue to be so beneficial and enjoyable for our Academy members.
Thank you to all who attended and we look forward to see you again in May at our next special training session.
